This case study introduces an OTR tire debeader and cutter shipped to Indonesia for processing large mining tires ranging from 2.7 to 4.2 meters. The project covers equipment configuration, technical parameters, customer concerns, and the complete production and delivery process.

Recently, we completed the production and shipment of an OTR tire debeader and cutter for a customer from Indonesia. The customer operates a large coal mine and has accumulated a significant number of used mining tires during long-term operations.
They planned to process large OTR tires with diameters ranging from 2.7 meters to 4.2 meters, preparing them for further shredding or recycling.
Based on the customer’s requirements, we recommended a suitable OTR tire recycling solution. Our equipment can handle tires with a maximum diameter of 4.5 meters (4500 mm), fully meeting both their current and potential future processing needs.

This OTR tire debeader is used to pull out the steel bead wires from large mining tires, preparing them for the next cutting and crushing processes.

- Power: 11 kW
- Size: 3.13 × 1.65 × 2.7 m
- Weight: 7200 kg
- Applicable tire size: ≤4000 mm (debeaded tires)
- Capacity: About 2 cuts per minute
- Blade material: Cr12MoV
- Spare parts: One extra set of blades included
- Voltage: 380V, 50HZ, 3-phase
The tire cutter is used to cut large OTR tires into smaller blocks after bead removal, making them easier to transport and process in subsequent shredding stages.

Before confirming the solution, the customer carefully reviewed several technical and service-related aspects. Below are the main questions and our corresponding answers:
1. What is the service life of the cutter blades?
Under normal operating conditions, the blades typically do not need replacement within one year. Regular sharpening is sufficient to maintain cutting performance. We also provide a blade sharpener to support daily maintenance.
2. Can the machine voltage be customized?
Yes. The standard configuration is 380V, 50HZ, 3-phase. If the customer has special voltage requirements, customization is available.
3. Do you provide installation manuals and operation videos?
Yes. We provide detailed installation manuals and operation videos to guide customers through setup and use.
4. Is technical support available?
Yes. Technical guidance is provided to ensure smooth installation and operation. Our team remains available for after-sales support.
5. How many workers are required to operate the machine?
Each machine requires only one operator, making the system simple and labor-efficient.
6. What is the production and delivery time?
The total time for production and transportation is approximately one month.
7. What is the warranty period?
The equipment comes with a one-year warranty.
After receiving clear and detailed answers to these questions, the customer gained full confidence in the equipment performance and service support, and then confirmed the order.
OTR Tire Debeader and Cutter Production and Delivery
After order confirmation, production was arranged according to schedule.
During manufacturing, we regularly shared photos of the production progress with the customer to maintain transparency. Once production was completed, we conducted a trial run and sent the testing video to the customer. After confirming that all parameters were properly adjusted and the OTR tire debeader and tire cutter were operating smoothly, we arranged shipment as planned.
The entire project was completed and delivered according to the agreed schedule.
