Recently, our company has reached a cooperation with a customer from South Africa, supplying a set of tire recycling equipment suitable for tyres with diameter below 1200mm, including double hook drawing machine and tyre shredder. The following is a brief introduction of this project.

Clarify Customer Needs

This customer has long been engaged in the collection and treatment of waste rubber, and plans to set up a preliminary processing line dedicated to tyres with a diameter of less than 1200mm. During the initial communication, the customer clearly expressed the need for a set of tire recycling equipment that can efficiently remove steel wires and crush tyres, and required simple operation, stable operation and convenient maintenance.

Tailor-made Recycling Programmes

Based on the customer’s requirements, our technical team recommended a combination of a double-hook tire debeader and a rubber tire shredder:

  • The double-Hook debeader can simultaneously extract steel wire rings from both sides of the tire, improving processing efficiency and reducing manual labor.
  • The tire shredder is used to crush de-beaded tires into chunks, preparing them for further rubber powder processing.

Both parties conducted multiple rounds of confirmation regarding technical specifications, capacity requirements, and on-site layout before reaching a final agreement.

Trial Run Completed and Ready for Shipment

After production was completed, we conducted a thorough factory test to ensure equipment quality. During the trial run, the machines operated smoothly and were easy to handle, meeting the customer’s expected performance standards. The customer reviewed the trial run results via video and expressed satisfaction with the equipment’s performance.

Currently, both machines have been securely packed and are scheduled for shipment to the customer’s facility in South Africa.
